UP & UNK Cooperation

The cooperation between Palacký University Olomouc (UP) and the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) builds on a long-standing academic partnership established in 1995. Since 2022, this collaboration has intensified through the connection between the Department of Economic and Managerial Studies at UP and the College of Business and Technology at UNK.

The goal of this partnership is to share expertise and develop joint educational projects, including the international MBA program. UNK, as a holder of the prestigious AACSB Accreditation, brings world-class standards in business education. The cooperation includes staff and faculty exchanges, hybrid courses, and collaborative research initiatives.

Key activities include visiting lectures, staff training exchanges, development of new hybrid courses (such as the ongoing International Marketing course), and joint international research. Our department benefits from UNK’s strong internationalization strategy, while helping UNK build connections with the European academic environment and the Czech education system. All mobility selections are made transparently, with a focus on strategic relevance and the quality of proposed activities.
