Erasmus for Entrepreneurs is a unique exchange program of the European Union. It gives budding entrepreneurs, or those who are just thinking about starting a business, the chance to gain experience abroad. The program offers a stay in one of 39 European countries for a period of 1 to 6 months.
Students who are starting a business or are just thinking about it, i.e. New Entrepreneurs with a maximum of 3 years of business experience (it is not necessary to have a trade or a business registration number), can participate in the program.
At the same time, those who have already built their company and would like to take on fresh and promising newcomers for a few months and ideally pass on some of their experience, i.e. Host Entrepreneurs (a company registered in the Czech Republic, must have an executive position in it, business experience of more than 3 years).
The professional field of the participant is not limited in any way, it can be more common professions or something very specific.
It is not necessary to be a citizen of the Czech Republic to participate, so the program is also suitable for foreigners who have lived in the Czech Republic for a long time. It is important that you stay in the Czech Republic for at least 6 months within the last year.
The language in which the stay will take place must be an EU language. Even though most stays are carried out in English, this is not a necessity. For example, stays in Germany and Austria can be carried out in German, stays in Slovakia in Czech/Slovak, etc.
In addition, you will receive financial support of up to 1200 EUR per month.
