UP Library to reopen 17 May

Wednesday 12 May 2021, 13:47

On Monday, 17 May, the gates of the UP Library will reopen after a hiatus of several months. Students and employees may borrow and return books in person, scan and/or photocopy texts, and even use university computers. Patrons can, limiting their use to the utmost minimum necessary per order of the Czech Ministry of Health (in Czech) also use study spaces (except for the night study room at the Zbrojnice/Armoury, which remains closed).

Entry to the library is only possible with a negative test result for Covid-19, and respiratory passages protection in the form of a nano face mask or respirator. The number of patrons will be limited in library spaces to 1 person/15 m2, thus we urge you to stay in the library only as long as is absolutely necessary. We also kindly ask all visitors to be considerate, to keep a safe distance from others, and to observe all hygienic rules.

Details on opening hours of the Zbrojnice/Armoury library and faculty branches, just like other details of library operations, including the borrowing and return system, can be found on the library webpages (in Czech).
