Any international student currently participating in a semester mobility program at our faculty was eligible to enter the competition.
A total of 24 photos were submitted, with each student allowed to submit one photo only.
The jury consisted of Dr. Veronika Gigalová (KSA, Social Photography Gallery), Martina Honzáková (student, photographer), and Antonín Šrejber (student, photographer).
The highest possible score was 15 points (each juror could award a maximum of 5 points).
The top places were very close. The highest score was awarded to a photo entitled Olocene.
The author described it as follows:
Olocene/Holocene: I took this photo when I arrived here. This symbolizes the start of my new epoch in Olomouc. Different sky and different life.
Jen-Feng Liu.

Second place went to Rui Yang with her photo My first impression of Olomouc. She wrote:
On my first day in Olomouc, wandering through the rain in search of the Faculty of Arts, I stopped briefly at the library entrance.
When I turned around, I noticed this moment—the sculpture and warm façade partially hidden behind the rain-soaked green leaves.
It became my very first impression of Olomouc: quiet, elegant, and full of hidden beauty waiting to be discovered.
Third place went to Lidiia Liubinska with her photograph Olomouc Town Hall. She says of the town hall:
A building I never pass by without taking a picture of.
Congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone for participating in the competition.
Here you can see the photos that the jury rated with at least seven points out of the possible 15.
